Job Description:
Provide Senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications; integrate third party products; participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues; participate in special projects and perform duties as assigned; responsible for configuring end-to-end environment using Ansible playbooks and deploying templates using Ansible Tower and using Jinja2 templates in Ansible Tower; write automation scripts to use the dynamic inventory concept and set it up in Ansible Tower and set up role-based access for different users and AppIDs; write automations in UiPath which saves a lot of human work and optimizes cost; work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud and work on Certificate management automation using Lambdas; work with Bitbucket and Bamboo deployments; work with Performance team to test stability of servers and address production issues based on service-level agreement (SLA) and work with development teams to address day-to-day activities including new server configurations, deployment pipeline creations for new projects and infra issues; respond to production incidents, working with Availability teams to ensure application is meeting SLA and provide complete analysis of reoccurring production incidents by monitoring server processes. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office located in Plano, TX and work-from-home available two days.
Requirements:
Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Digital Sciences, or closely related IT field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including DevOps Engineer and/or Linux Administrator; or Bachelor’s and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible, RHEL 7/8, Shell, Python, Splunk, Ansible Tower, Apache, and Tomcat Application Server.
