Cloud Administrator - On-Site

As a Cloud Administrator, you are experienced in virtual infrastructure and cloud administration. You know how to set up and manage cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.”

• Deploy and configure services and applications on Azure Environment(s)
• Manage all aspects of maintenance.
• Maintain data standards and adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Develop and Manage process for BCP, DR and HA in partnership with IT OPS & Development teams.
• Provide support, to diagnose hardware, network systems, and software accurately & quickly.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform hands on support including upgrades, backups, patches, as well as configuration of resources.
• Analyze, research, and perform problem solving and resolution of issues.
• Create, maintain detailed SOPs for all cloud infrastructure processes.
• Collaborate with IT Development & IT Operations teams to improve cross-functional communication and productivity, as well as track – distribute information.
• Provide recommendations / solutions on opportunities to improve processing of Azure environment.
• Obtain & maintain appropriate certifications to remain current in technology stack(s).
• Availability for after-hours and on-call support

3+ years of experience with cloud administration technologies, specifically Azure - Required

Proactive, self-starter with excellent problem solving, planning, and project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

2+ Years of Network, VPN, Firewall, VDI implementation & support experience

Knowledge of Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, Blobs, and cloud resource management

Preferred:

Experience with writing scripts using tools, including Python, Bash, or Boto3

Experience with automated testing frameworks

Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.

Excellent presentation & communication (Oral & Written) skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for long periods of time
• Repetitive motions using fine motor skills (keyboarding)
• Ability to effectively look at computer screen for long periods of time
