Compensation:$30,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Open new title orders and manage correspondence
- Prepare Title Commitments, Closing Protection Letters, Tax Certificates, Preliminary Closing Disclosures/Settlement Statements, and other documents in connection with a closing
- Order Payoffs, HOA Estoppel, and/or any other documentation needed for closing
- Maintain and Organize closing files
- Provide clerical and data entry support, as well as administrative assistant duties
- Coordinate closing times with Buyer, Seller, Agents, and/or Lender
- Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package
- Overnight executed closing package to Lender
- eRecord/Record Cash Sale Deed, Mortgage, and/or other documents needing to be recorded in connection with a closing
- Order, review and send title policies to lender and/or property owner
- 1+ years of experience in the title industry is preferred but not required
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Maintains a professional demeanor
- Responsive and dependable
- Knowledge of the real estate process
- Possesses a strong understanding of title commitments, mortgage loans, title insurance, and real estate contracts
- Experience with Qualia is preferred
- Certification as a notary public is not required but is appreciated
- Computer proficiency with numerous programs including MS Office is needed
- Superb research, communications, customer service, and analytical skills are desired
