$500 Sign on Bonus!

One (1) full time (40 hours/week) position for a Clinician I/II in our LIFE Path program in Modesto. The LIFE Path treatment team serves transitional age youth, 14-25, experiencing the early signs of psychosis.  Services provided include individual, family, couples, educational/vocational support, collateral, group and case management in homes, community, and school settings as well as in the office. Services also include early psychosis screening and community education/presentations.  The clinician collaborates with members of the treatment team.
Qualifications:

  1. Clinician- Graduation from an accredited graduate program with major in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Behavior Analysis, or other related degree required. These degrees must be license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC).
  2. One year of experience in a treatment setting preferred.
  3. Bilingual preferred.
  4. BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable.
  5. A valid California driver’s license with less than two minor moving violations is required of staff who have driving duties to meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency’s insurance company.

  4. Physical, mental and emotional health adequate to perform duties.
  5. Must possess knowledge of mental health programs and community resources.

  7. Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic diversity.
  8. Ability to work at various locations, including client homes, schools and community settings.
  9. Sound personal qualifications (i.e., maturity, stability, high moral standards, and sound mental health and physical ability to perform job duties).

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct clinical services to clients.
  2. Provide assessment and treatment planning for clients.
  3. Provide group, individual, family, and collateral clinical services for clients.
  4. Provide school consultation when appropriate.
  5. Keep comprehensive clinical records that meet standards of the agency, The Joint Commission and contract.
  6. Collaborate with the referring agency or other community agencies working with the client to coordinate treatment.
  7. Collect outcome data, including consumer satisfaction surveys, as required by the agency and contract.
  8. Must implement program goals and objectives to meet and maintain contractual requirements and productivity.
  9. Participate in monthly peer review.
  10. Attend trainings.
  11. Responsible for preventing and controlling infection.
  12. Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety.
  13. Effectively use de-escalation skills and techniques for crisis prevention.
  14. Properly administer the C-SSRS to help prevent suicide (not just children).
  15. Provide required client contacts monthly.
  16. Adhere to Medi-Cal and Behavioral Health and Recovery Services timelines.
  17. Effectively navigate and utilize all required electronic health records (EHR).
  18. Attend required training that may be outside Stanislaus County.
  19. Meet monthly productivity expectations.
  20. Utilize LOCUS and Child Adolescent Needs and Strengths tool for treatment planning.
  21. Utilize all required early psychosis screening tools.
  22. Provide fidelity based early psychosis interventions.
  23. Participate in Child and Family Team (CFT) meetings.
  24. Schedule and participate in community outreach, education, and presentations.
