The Position:

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for our Palmdale site to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment services to children, adolescents and their families in the office, community and school-based settings.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts intakes, provides individual, group and family therapy services in the office based and community settings. Services include initial clinical assessments, diagnosis, clinical treatment planning and implementation, referral and termination.
• Handles crisis situations, including outside of normal work hours.
• Follows CFGC’s reporting protocols.
• Conducts parent education programs and family support groups.
• Maintains clinical charts and completes program paperwork.
• Consults with school personnel, which may include teachers, counselors and administrators.
• Participates in supervision, meetings and trainings related to position and services provided including evidence-based practice trainings, boosters and consultations assigned.
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours), Monday – Friday, 2 evenings per week until 8:00pm are required. This position is fully onsite for the first six months. Hybrid work options are available after six months of employment.

Starting Salary:

• A.M.F.T. and A.C.S.W. $67,500
• L.M.F.T. and L.C.S.W. $70,500 - $73,000
• Waivered Psychologist: $73,000
• Licensed Psychologist: $77,500 - $87,000
• Additional years of experience will be considered as well
• $3,000 differential available for bilingual Spanish-English proficiency (must pass Spanish Proficiency Assessment to qualify)
• $2,000 sign on bonus ($1,000 to be paid during first pay period, $1,000 to be paid after six months of continuous employment). 

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience working with kids/teens and families
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based child and family interventions relevant to families served in the community mental health settings.
• Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients.
• Ph.D., Psy.D., M.S.W., or M.A./M.S. with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
