MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY TASKS
- Conduct client biopsychosocial clinical assessments to determine their mental health therapy needs and diagnostic criteria
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on the client assessment
- Provide / facilitate individual therapy sessions to clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Continue education through clinical training to stay informed of current research and best practices in therapy techniques

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Art Therapy
- Valid provisional (LPC, LSW) or clinical (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) Illinois license
- Experience in client assessment, case management, and mental health counseling
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards.
- Clinical training in DBT, ACT, ERP, CBT, EMDR, Brainspotting, or Somatic Therapy
- Experience working with children, teens, and their parents in a counseling setting
- Interest and desire to work with a collaborative with a team and connect to peers and team culture in a small group practice.
- Eager to grow as a clinician, continue to dive into advanced clinical trainng to enhance your counseling and therapy knowledge and skills.
- Advanced knowledge of child and adult learning theory, practice, and implementation.
- Advance knowledge of reflective supervision, teacher coaching best practices, and implementation.
- Advanced skills in use of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written skills
- Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, or other times as required.
