Description:
This is a full time position in the third floor, 13 bed Med/Surg Unit, 7pm-7am. This position is 36 hours/week with varying days.
The Clinical Technician works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Clinical Tech include assessing and providing basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The Clinical Technician should be self-motivated and able to function as a member of a health care team.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification required.
Education: Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent. A student in a medical field program may be hired into a Clinical Technician position.
Experience: Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
Special Qualifications: Computer skills required. Medical terminology preferred.
