POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor, RN in collaboration with the Practice Manager and clinicians assures the provisions of quality care to patients, develops and maintains a mechanism to evaluate and improve the quality of care, works to improve care coordination and improve patient and customer satisfaction while providing a climate of collaboration between clinical staff and other disciplines. The Clinical Supervisor, RN works closely with the clinicians to improve quality, patient satisfaction, and is involved in the ongoing development and growth of the practice and staff. The Clinical Supervisor, RN reports to the Practice Manager.
As clinic needs necessitate the Clinical Supervisor, RN will room patients and assist with room turnover to ensure patient flow and provider needs are met optimally. The Clinical Supervisor, RN will assist with care coordination when applicable, utilizing care coordination within patient's PCP office when available.
The Clinical Supervisor, RN provides direct supervision of Medical Assistants and LPN's. This includes participation in the interviewing of applicants, training and education, evaluation of performance and competencies, as well as responsible for providing counseling and discipline as necessary in conjunction with the Practice Manager.

QUALIFICATION
Education:
- High School Education or Equivalency Required.
- Graduate of an RN accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years recent outpatient clinical nursing experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Must demonstrate computer proficiency, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and databases used for data collection and reporting.
Licensure/Certification(s):
- Active State of Vermont RN license.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
