Clinical Supervisor (Lcsw, Lmft, Or Lmhc)- Veterans & Military Encouraged

Banyan Treatment Centers is currently recruiting for a Clinical Supervisor to join our team in Lake Worth, Florida.

The Clinical Supervisor will provide services to a primary mental health and substance use-disorder populations. They will report directly to the Clinical Director and aide in the direct supervision of Clinical and Case Management staff.

This position requires an active LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC, 2 or more years of management experience, working knowledge of levels of care, JCAHO standards, crisis intervention, familiarity with the needs to a primary substance use disorder population.

Essential Functions:

• Assists Clinical Director with all duties, as needed.
• Participates in Clinical policy and procedure development and training.
• Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure. 
• Delivers direct patient services, as needed.
• Completes baseline assessment and discharge summaries, as needed.
• Recruits and interviews new employees, in coordination with Clinical Director. 
• Implements staff schedule.
• Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards, on a timely basis.
• Initiates appropriate counseling and disciplinary action for infraction of policy.
• Assists in formulating standards for patient care.
• Completes clinical chart audits, on a weekly and as needed basis.
• Submits reports to Quality Assurance, monthly or as needed. 
• Completes performance evaluations on time and create/provide growth plans for supervises.
• Coordinates ongoing provision of Clinical On-Call services.
• Available for off-hours crisis, and other non-crisis and disaster response needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of policies and procedures related to suicide, risk, and assessment and is observed assessing patients based on suicide safety and concerns.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work (or a related Human Services field).
• An active LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of Florida
• At least 2 years of work experience in a management role.

Preferences:

• Familiarity with the needs of a primary substance use disorder population.
• Working knowledge of JCAHO standards, levels of care and crisis intervention.
