The Clinical Supervisor provides direct services to clients including individual and group counseling and 24-hour crisis intervention. Provides clinical supervision and direction of services to BA and MA level license-eligible staff and student interns. Responsible for ensuring team members are clinically prepared, are tracking clients from referral to discharge, and acting in accordance with program design. Performs administrative duties as required.

• Provide clinical assessment guidelines, conduct clinical assessment skills reviews and serve as a consultation resource.
• Provide in-service training.
• Work with County Administrators, Program Manager and other community agencies to identify applicable resources.
• Participate as clinical expert in weekly treatment team and staff meetings.
• Review staff charting for completeness and compliance with agency, federal, state and local government standards of care on referrals, intakes, assessments, interventions, progress notes, community treatment coordination and discharges.
• In conjunction with the Program Manager, participate in the recruitment and hiring recommendations of new staff.
• Participate in public relation activities as needed.
• Carry a reduced client caseload.
• Assure thorough and concise discussion of each client attending to treatment goals, measuring behavior and progress in overall treatment.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation on each client.
• Participate in program quality assurance activities and ensure compliance with a quality standard of care.
• Develop and maintain a staff clinical training program.
• Intervene for non-open cases in a crisis by providing referral to mental health and substance abuse services.
• Supervise and manage staff in charting and chart documentation in an accurate, legible, timely, organized and pertinent manner.
• Comply with all MHS and program rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Licensed within the State of CA for at least 2 years as a LCSW, MFT or equivalent
• Ability to provide BBS Clinical Supervision
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office and EHR software
• Ability to problem solve and react appropriately to emergency situations
• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with clients, family members, community partners and staff members
• Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements
PAY RANGE: $89, 440 - $95, 680 / ANNUALLY
