POSITION SUMMARY

Key Medical Care, A SilverStone Health Company, is seeking a part-time, remote Clinical Staff Coordinator, preferably in the DFW market. The Clinical Staff Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training processes for Clinical Staff members. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of staffing procedures. This position is responsible for scheduling all provider and clinical assistant shifts to ensure adequate coverage for patient care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Recruitment and Selection:
  • Source and recruit candidates through various channels, including online job boards, networking events, and university recruitment platforms.
  • Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the position.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and other members of the hiring team.
  • Conduct interviews with candidates, assessing their skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
  • Make informed hiring decisions based on candidate evaluations and team feedback
2. Hiring Process Management:
  • Facilitate the hiring process by managing document signing, communicating effectively with the HR department to ensure timely processing of new hire paperwork and documentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates and new hires, addressing any questions or concerns throughout the hiring process.
3. Onboarding and Training:
  • Initiate and oversee the onboarding process for new Clinical Staff members, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.
  • Design and coordinate training schedules, including orientation sessions and job-specific training modules.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop customized training programs tailored to the needs of each clinical team.
4. Logistics and Coordination:
  • Coordinate hardware pickups and ensure that new hires receive necessary equipment and resources for their roles.
  • Facilitate the setup of company email accounts and other digital platforms required for job functions.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and ensure proper allocation to new and existing staff members.
5. Scheduling:
  • Coordinates and creates shift schedules for all providers and clinical assistants
  • Maintains staffing scheduling software/programs to schedule shifts, monitor staffing levels, and input related data
  • Communicates with Clinical Staff leaders to obtain provider and clinical assistant work availability
  • Works with Clinical Staff leaders to project staffing needs to achieve required staffing levels

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and the internet
  • Ability to document using proper medical terminology in EMR system

  • Knowledgeable of and maintains HIPAA standards of privacy and confidentiality. Ability to use discretion appropriately and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong listening skills and ability to show compassion for a diverse patient population and their families.

Education / Experience: Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

Required:

  • 1-2 years of work-related experience in healthcare
  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Experience with Chronic Care Management
  • Experience in Clinical Staff scheduling

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hands and arms, includes ability to walk through skilled nursing facilities.
  • Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to: remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
  • Light to moderate lifting 20-25 pounds
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low
