Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited university with a DPT, OTD, MS, MA, BS, BA, or Associates degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy.
- Holds current license and/or registration in the state (s) (as applicable)
- Must have previously held a position as a Rehab Director, Rehab Supervisor or Traveling Supervisor.
- Must be able to travel to multiple facilities as required
Job Responsibilities:
- Adhere to productivity requirements re: patient care/treatment and management time allocation outlined by Tender Touch
- Act as a team leader/mentor and clinical role model to all members of the rehab team in the clinical specialty area
- Act as a clinical expert, consultant, and educator in the clinical specialty area
- Ensure proper identification of patients, payer sources, and coding for patients who require treatment in clinical specialty area
- Disseminate information to clinicians and clients about clinical specialty area
- Plan, coordinated and implement programs and ensure clinical programs of all disciplines are running smoothly
- Assist in developing and implementing new programs as needed. Provide support to staff as required
- Ensure documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner and that chart audits are completed
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for patients as required
- Ensure evaluations and treatments are done in a timely manner and POC is being implemented for patients identified by Clinical Specialist
- Act as a representative for the rehabilitation department to communicate with the facility and members of the interdisciplinary team regarding clinical specialty area. Offer in service presentations as needed
- Monitor staff and departments performance in clinical specialty area, prepare reports regarding clinical specialty area for Regional Manager as required
- Ensure claims on review in specialty area are submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with preparation of claims as required by denials management team
- Be available to travel to facilities when requested to evaluate the needed for, implementation and follow up on clinical programming
