Job Title: Clinical Scientist II
Location: West Sacramento CA - 95691
Duration: 12 Months contract
Payrange: $50/hr - $63 /hr on W2
Job Description:
- The Clinical Affairs Scientist P2 will support the Clinical Affairs team during Microbiology antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) clinical trials.
- Working under a Clinical project lead, the incumbent will be interacting with cross-functional teams and responsible for clinical trial site support
- Lead communication between sponsor and clinical trial site, limited training of clinical trial personnel, and troubleshooting instrument or data issues during the clinical trial.
- Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for updating project lead(s) with any issues
Education requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or related field with 2+ years experience OR Master’s degree in Life Science or related field with 0-2 years of experience.
- Required skills include knowledge of Microbiology (clinical experience desired
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing task-driven environment where prioritization of work will be expected
- Knowledge of good clinical practices (GCP) and good documentation practices (GDP)
- Experience with Excel (including simple formulas) and Word.
- Travel may be requested.
