Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company in Andover, MA is currently looking for a Analytical Scientist I to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Analytical Scientist I / Pharma Industry
Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 36 months

Job Description:
The qualified candidate will work with the Analytical R&D organization in Andover, MA, to enable development of biological therapeutics. Within Analytical R&D the candidate will work with the Project Progression & Biochemistry Group focused on monoclonal antibodies/fusion proteins/mRNA vaccines and other biological modalities.
This group develops analytical methodologies and strategies needed to progress biotherapeutic products in the pipeline; this includes method development, process support, formulation and stability support, product characterization and method qualification.
The qualified candidate will perform analytical testing of developmental in-process, drug substance, and drug product samples in a non-GMP environment. Day-to-day activities include HPLC based assays (SEC, titer, excipients, IEX, RP), UV-vis spectroscopy, KF moisture titration, appearance testing, protein purification, buffer/solution preparation, and documentation in eLNs.

backfill for a CW who will be converting.
looking for knowledge/ hands on experience in analytical testing skills. all listed would be ideal/ great but not all are needed. 2 or 3 would be good.
entry level, right of college is okay, hands on experience (academic/industry)
analytical techniques experience.
ipetting experience=plus
empower=plus, LIMS=plus
research assistant, internship, hands on lab experience academic or fresh in the industry would be ideal.
Comments:
M-F onsite, Andover. standard 1st shift with some flex on exact hours.
Must follow return to site policy.
Minimum Education:
Entry level, B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry or related field
MS would be fine as well.
PhD over qualified.
