- Working with the Burn team’s objectives, will collaborate to develop business plans, clinical/educational strategies, and to manage product validations and implementations in assigned target accounts.
- Drive adoption of product utilization by providing education through multimedia resources.
- Identifies and communicates competitive intelligence to Sales, Marketing and Clinical teams.
- Works in conjunction with the Burn team to find opportunities for case studies/generation of clinical evidence and new product implementations.
- Collaborates with Clinical Business Manger/director & RBM-Bs, in coordination with the MEM-B, to manage product validations and implementations in assigned target accounts.
- Completes assessments of customer needs and resource requirements needed for clinical education and product training during and after product validations and conversions.
- Develops coverage plan and metrics for clinical education and product training in target accounts.
- Uses clinical, product portfolio, and clinical evidence-based knowledge to conduct consultative calls/meetings with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and decision makers in all market segments.
- Uses knowledge of S+N selling process for AWM portfolio of products.
- Acts as the voice of the customer, and offer a real-world experience perspective with our products when providing input to the company’s new product development efforts
- Maintains extensive knowledge of references for clinical research and evidence that supports key marketing messages.
- Maintains comprehensive product knowledge of focus brands.
- Acts as an educational and Clinical Resource for the advanced wound care portfolio in target accounts as well as with AWM colleagues.
- Provides formal presentations to a variety of audiences/venues (corporate, sales, marketing, physicians, high level decision makers)
- Assesses and triages issues related to product performance and function. Maintains knowledge of formal complaint process and initiates/completes documentation per S+N compliance.
- Responds to customer questions/concerns related to S+N products on challenging/complex wounds.
- Provides clinical education and consultation to AWM AMs.
- Applies clinical expertise and business knowledge to develop and maintain relationships with key clinicians and opinion leaders to establish and drive clinical credibility and adoption of S+N products.
- Participates in the identification and development of local and regional (HCPs) ensuring their activities are coordinated with the Marketing and Medical Education teams.
- Embraces S+N Business ethics, adheres to stated corporate compliance policies, always represents S+N appropriately, and holds direct reports to the same standards.
- Registered Nurse, or relevant clinical background in Burn care with licensure required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or related clinical field strongly preferred. Wound care certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years burn care experience within a clinical setting and/or 3-5 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Must be able to travel up to 80% and may include overnight and/or weekends. Must be in proximity to major metropolitan airport.
