Clinical Quality Analyst

The Clinical Quality Analyst will work with the Quality Team and Medical Director of Quality, Safety, and Process Improvement to build and oversee scalable processes and operational infrastructure that will enable enterprises to identify, assess, correct, and monitor Clinical Quality. Clinical Quality Analyst expertise will be instrumental in evaluating, analyzing, and improving our clinical processes to optimize patient outcomes and uphold industry standards. Work will be instrumental in using data to verify processes are in place to ensure safe, effective, patient centered, timely, equitable and evidence based clinical practices across Thirty Madison and KMG Medical Group organizations.

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What you get to do every day

  • Analyze clinical data sets, metrics, and performance indicators to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in patient care, safety, and outcomes
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing quality assessment findings, recommendations, and action plans for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Establish and maintain quality monitoring mechanisms to continually assess the effectiveness of implemented improvements and initiatives
  • Own responsibility for supporting Clinical Quality initiatives, priorities and performance metric identification
  • Iteratively build and improve reports, as well as dashboards to provide insight at scale.
  • Create new analysis tools to provide and perform routine and ad hoc analysis of trends, patterns, and insights
  • Define, measure, analyze and be able to clearly advise or make requests for changes in our product, data, and engineering services to continuously improve our systems and abilities
  • Communicate clinical data findings to the rest of the Clinical Quality Team and cross functional partners in the organization
  • Develop a broad business understanding to address clinical data analytics needs and dependencies
  • Engage and influence internal and external key partners using quantitative data to drive the strategy, development and continuous improvement of processes, technology and services as they impact Clinical Quality
  • Promote achieving company quality benchmarks, driving collection and analysis of Clinical Quality outcomes across service lines and institutes
  • Identify patient safety concerns through the compilation and analysis of data to identify trends, and provide information to the remainder of the Clinical Quality Team and Quality Medical Director
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Promote the use of technology and data to achieve quality outcomes
  • Facilitate the creation of drafting and publishing relevant newsletters, annual reports, and research for grant projects; prepare correspondence, memoranda, and advisories; review and respond to routine correspondence related to Quality Program and help use this information to support decision-making of company leadership, as requested
  • Support and attend meetings, providing appropriate background information and data as requested
  • Champion Clinical Quality culture, programs, experiences, and tools using data to ensure they are seamlessly aligned with KMG and Thirty Madison's strategy, values, business goals, and operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and records of employee, patient and company data, as well as organizational strategic initiatives
  • Use independent professional judgment and work with minimum supervision

What you bring to the role

  • 2+ years of proven experience in data analysis roles
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and an ability to balance industry standards and achieve business goals
  • Experience building a large scale program
  • Experience and excellence working in a high growth fast paced diverse environment
  • A seasoned operator and versatile problem-solver who executes.
  • Able to create or optimize an existing framework
  • High emotional intelligence. Able to effortlessly communicate with diverse groups of people across the entire enterprise.
  • Results-driven, with an analytical mindset and drive to exceed quality targets
  • Experience with SQL and data warehouses, including Snowflake
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Looker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
  • Ability to consult with cross functional partners through virtual communication channels
