Provides psychological evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to medical patients and when appropriate significant others. Consults with physicians and nurses and makes recommendations for appropriate services. Functions as a clinical resource to members of multidisciplinary treatment teams. May provide recommendations for program development around issues of health psychology. May supervise doctoral and post-doctoral trainees in psychology. Patients may include adolescents, adult, and geriatric populations.
The Psychologist will work 3 days/week.
REQUIRED:
1. Doctoral degree with primary study in Clinical Psychology.
2. Licensed as a psychologist
3. Completion of one (1) year supervised clinical internship.
4. Must be CPR certified.
PREFERRED:
1. One (1) year experience in a medical setting evaluating and treating patients for psychological factors associated with medical problems.
