Position: Clinical Psychologist
Salary Range: $160,000 + $25k sign-on bonus
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Palm Springs, CA
Requirements to apply:
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.
- Active and Unrestricted License as a Clinical Psychologist in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross accredited BLS certification.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical setting as a psychotherapist.
- Experience:
- Using an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.
- Working in the LGBTQ community, preferred.
- Working in an FQHC, preferred.
- Working with persons affected by substance use, preferred.
- Current Medicare provider, preferred.
- Skill in utilizing various forms of psychotherapy, including cognitive/behavioral, interpersonal, dialectical behavioral, etc.
Job Overview
In the role of Clinical Psychologist, reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health, the incumbent facilitates Mental Health services for clients through short-term individual, couples, and group psychotherapy. Working in a hybrid capacity for 40 hours a week, the responsibilities include conducting comprehensive Mental Health Assessments, implementing psychotherapy based on APA best practices, and collaborating with clients to develop treatment plans addressing mental health, substance use, and related issues. The psychologist monitors progress, ensures adherence to treatment plans, and maintains timely documentation in electronic health records. Additionally, they coordinate with medical providers, make referrals when necessary, and provide clinical supervision to interns.
