Job Description
Clinical Program Coordinator Fee For Service
$45,985 - $60,700 - $75,415
Summary:
The Clinical Program Coordinator coordinates the implementation and ongoing operational functions for MedImpact Fee-For-Service (FFS) Clinical Programs. Reviews program configurations to ensure adherence with design requirements. Collaborates with clinical staff and performs analysis of completed configurations in a pre-production environment to ensure that they function as intended and meet client program requirements. Execute and maintain ongoing operations of Clinical Programs. Adheres to procedural and quality standards, including thorough and accurate documentation and testing protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify, delineate and coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective and efficient implementation and management of Clinical Programs, products and services. Programs/products include, but are not limited to, Retrospective Drug Utilization Review (RetroDUR) Program and FFS Maximum Allowable Cost (MAC) Program .
- Serve as the primary administrator of the Clinical Programs post-sale.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that client program expectations are achieved through up-front clarification of specifications, design reviews, validation audits, and best practice coding guidelines.
- Utilizes planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills to ensure timely deliverables, high levels of quality, and efficient use of resources to achieve program accuracy.
- Promotes continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to quality principles. Seeks out and actively participates in business initiatives that contribute to service excellence.
- Duties specific to RetroDUR Programs :
- Perform pre-analysis on established clinical interventions and produce reports in the RetroDUR application
- Coordinate and execute quarterly and/or monthly selected clinical interventions
- Produce all deliverables following timelines and due dates. Communicate with clients or client team for approval, if necessary
- Collaborate with clinical staff to establish new clinical interventions in the RetroDUR application
- Perform post-analysis and prepare outcome reporting
- Duties specific to FFS MAC Program:
- Perform pre-analysis for monthly and/or weekly MAC pricing maintenance following pre-established proprietary algorithm
- Receive and process MAC appeal requests
- Coordinate manual review of MAC pricing review with clinical staff
- Maintain MAC pricing in point-of-sale system
- Produce all deliverables following timelines and due dates
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree minimum; 3-5 years experience and/or education in product support, project coordination, and/or business analysis in health care or related environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Pharmacy Technician license required.
