Aurora Medical Spa was founded in 2006 in Des Peres, MO. In 2023 We are proud to say we now have 6 locations spread across Missouri, Texas, and Colorado with aggressive plans for future growth. We are looking for the person who is willing to hop on and hold tight for the adventure that lies ahead. At Aurora we pride ourselves on Inspiring Confidence, and Empowering all, and we don't just mean our clients.
What is a partner at Aurora Medical Spa?
Entering the partnership with Aurora Medical Spa means becoming one of the owners of the company. Ownership of any private business has a mixture of rewards and responsibilities.
It is not for everyone.
It is for the person:
- Who wishes to be a master of their fate
- Who is willing to accept that to make more than a salary, one must accept risk and responsibility
- Who has a vision for the future and wants to have influence in making that vision a reality
- Who wants to lead
- Who wants to become part of a collaborative team of motivated professionals:
If this is you, becoming part of the owner/ management team of Aurora Medical Spa is an excellent opportunity. Trust is an essential element in any partnership, work or otherwise. As you read through this document and evaluate the partnership opportunity at Aurora Medical Spa, you must have the sense that you trust the current partners. And that you’ll be able to work together with them to make the practice even better.
Roles of partners
Clinical Managementand Mentoring— No location can grow if the partner must do all the clinical work. The difference between a one-person practice and a practice such as Aurora Medical Spa is the use of collaborative effort to handle clients greater in number and scope than any individual could. This requires management. Management is not monolithic — there are different types. Your specific duties will encompass these in varying degrees:
- Staff management — How we aid and assist clinicians in the location to become the best professionals they can be, and productive for both themselves and the company
- Resource management — How we combine our clinicians’ various talents and efforts to produce the results our clients desire
- Time management — How we schedule and coordinate to ensure our time is as productive as possible
- Workflow management — How the Clinical Partners coordinate with the Spa Director to ensure a good workflow throughout the location
- Quality management — How we ensure that treatments are done to standards and the level of professionalism that is the standard at Aurora Medical Spa
Business direction and strategy — The partners of a practice are responsible for its future; there is no one else. Time must be allocated to thinking about what might happen, what changes in circumstances will mean, and how to anticipate the future. It is easy to get caught up in the tyranny of the now. But any location, large or small, needs its owners to be strategists and planners as well as operators.
Financial management — The flow of money (billings coming in, expenses going out) is the blood flow of any business. Like business development, it is not a skill set that we are taught when we get our professional training. But as an owner/partner, it is essential to become familiar with financial management principles and to learn how to use financial data to get key information that will help you understand the health of the location.
Practically Speaking
The Clinical Partner works with the CEO to set strategic goals and objectives for their location. It is the Clinical Partner’s responsibility to supervise the daily clinical activities and monitor providers' clinical performance. Partners will work in tandem with the Spa Directors to ensure that all the Aurora processes and protocols are being held up to ensure quality of care and excellent customer service.
The Clinical Partner will be the primary source of revenue for the location certainly in the beginning and likely for many years.
Prioritizing your time on the schedule to bring in revenue, training new staff, and holding communication meetings is a critical component of the partner’s journey.
The Partner and the location will be supported by the Spa Director and the corporate office to ensure that the business is running as smoothly as possible.
