SalaryPacific Medical Lab is currently hiring for a full time Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS). The shift if Monday-Friday mornings with a start time as early as 6am to 8am. The primary focus of the position will be molecular microbiology. Full training to be provided on-site from the instrument/testing manufacturer. Routine responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing laboratory tests and procedures, including but not limited to molecular microbiology.
- Ensuring proper documentation is updated on a daily basis.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Participate in research laboratory activities, including clinical trials and data analysis.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures - primarily pipetting and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data entry and retrieval - all training to be conducted on site for LIS handling.
- Ability to manage a laboratory, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Current/Up-to-date CLIA certified CLS licensed required
We are heavily invested in the molecular microbiology field and are looking for candidates who are searching for a full-time and long-term commitment. The schedule is a fixed schedule and can be flexible to better cater the candidates schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
