JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for participating in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of education and training for hospital associates.
- Educates and mentors nursing staff on quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Generates new knowledge through research implementation and dissemination of clinical and nonclinical nursing studies locally and nationally.
- Facilitates professional role development and practice role transitions including the RN Residency Program.
- Develops and implements initial and ongoing competencies alongside department leadership.
EDUCATION:
- Master s Degree Education or Nursing and/or Health related field with education credits or a post-Master's certificate in education
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse with current license.
- Five years in acute care clinical services.
- Two years management or two years in professional development/education.
- Two years in EBP and Research.
- Board Certification preferred.
- Proof of publication preferred.
- Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
