Job Description:
Responsible for analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities for the CDI Program. Responsible for understanding CDI software, running reports, analyzing data, completing open data fields, creating spreadsheets and presentations, making recommendations from the data, and reporting outcomes. Works collaboratively with CDI and Coding Management, CDI Specialists, Physician Advisors, and others to assure CDI issues are identified, monitored, and tracked for compliance and program advancement. Able to learn and understand all pertinent coding and billing guidelines, has an understanding or ability to learn pertinent state and federal billing regulations. Makes recommendations to the CDI Manager for implementing improvements in the CDI Program, based on thorough analysis of data. Upon request, performs special projects related to CDI, or Coding.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited health information management program (RHIA), or business or healthcare management program, with an emphasis on healthcare data analytics.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
RHIA (Registered Health Information Management Administrator)
