Clinical Director
Hands On Health Associates, LLC is an outpatient chemical dependency and mental health treatment clinic in Brooklyn, NY looking for a Clinical Director to oversee and supervise all clinical and administrative staff.
Qualifications
- Experience/training in the treatment of Mental Health Disorders: 3+ years preferred (alcohol/chemical dependency experience is a plus)
- Three years supervisory experience
Minimum Education/Certifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct supervision to counselors and other non-medical clinical personnel.
- Review services compliance with agency's policies and procedures.
- Ensure that clinical practices and records are in compliance with OMH, OASAS and other relevant regulations.
- Monitor and ensure that appropriate professional services are being provided to patients receiving mental health/alcohol/chemical dependency services.
- Participate in Performance Improvement efforts with regard to quality of care and clinical services development.
- Assist in development and implementation of program goals. Conduct outreach to other agencies/community and outreach absent patients.
- Assist in coordinating services with relevant services agencies for individual patients and referrals to other programs as needed.
- Prepare reports, maintain statistical data, attend meetings and participate on committees as assigned.
- Maintain knowledge of all OMH and OASAS regulations, including on confidentiality (CFR-42, HIPAA and HIV State confidentiality laws.)
- Maintain knowledge of OMH and OASAS regulations and new developments in a changing health care environment.
- Develop and update policies and procedures at least annually in coordination with executive director.
- Represent agency with ethical, fair and positive attitude.
- Interview and hire personnel as required by the agency.
- Provide clinical services on a part time basis.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be an LCSW or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Job Location: Brooklyn, New York
Hours/Week: Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm (Variable)
