We are seeking a highly skilled, energetic, customer-focused and dependable clinical assistant to join our busy clinic team, in Greenwood, IN. Position is responsible for a wide variety of clinical and clerical duties.
Essential Functions
- Assist patients to/from clinic areas
- Assist providers during office visits and/or scribe into the EMR
- Input and retrieval of PHI into EMR
- Conduct preliminary patient evaluations
- Communicate information with patients as directed by physician or PA
- Provide appropriate patient education regarding medical conditions
- Schedule patient surgeries and coordinate with pre-admission testing and prior authorization teams
- Manage and prioritize phone calls and electronic communication

- Able and willing to handle high patient care volume on a daily basis
Requirements:
- Prior clinical or field experience is preferred.
- Must have previously worked with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Must consistently demonstrate excellent customer services skills, handle high patient care volume well on a daily basis, multitask effectively and be highly organized.
- Medical terminology and orthopedic experience preferred.
- ATC or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- Available to work Monday - Friday days
- Position is full-time, 40 hours per week and is eligible for a full benefits package
