Clinic Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Vital Heart & Vein is actively searching for a dynamic Clinic Supervisor, adept in leadership, administration, and clinical management. This pivotal role oversees daily clinical operations for 2 full-time clinics and 3 satellite clinics.

Job Duties

• Coordinate the day-to-day clinical operations and
• Over site to physician schedules and imaging appointments
• Ensures efficient operation of the clinical team by scheduling and planning for use of staff within the department.
• Monitors clinical and front desk staff members by directing, guiding, and influencing the outcome of an individual's performance and activity in collaboration with Director of
• Clinical Services and Director of Patient Services
• Oversight of clinical and front desk staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage during hours of operation.
• Assure that patient/family centered care is provided within clinics established standards.
• Conducts patient relations and patient recovery efforts timely and professionally.
• Initiate the development and revision of policies and procedures.
• Ability to work closely with front and back-office operations to identify and implement processes for improvement.
• Reports out weekly and monthly clinical volume reports.
• Ensures clean and safe work environment of all assigned clinic locations.
• Supervise and oversee ordering of clinical & office supplies for assigned clinics.
• Oversight of employee time keeping and timely submission of employee timesheets to payroll.

Education & Licensure Required: Degree in healthcare management, business, or related health field

Minimum Experience Required: Two (2) years of healthcare operations supervisory/management experience or three (3) years of progressive relevant leadership experience.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
• Possession of analytical decision-making skills necessary to quickly assess and resolve complex logistical, technical, and patient care problems and issues.
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise subordinate staff.
• Ability to address and manage conflict in a direct and professional manner.
• Must be willing to travel to Vital Heart & Vein clinic locations in the Houston market

Physical Requirements

• Stand or sit for extended periods of time throughout the day.
• Occasional lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading materials up to and including 20 lbs.
• Visual and auditory ability to work with patients, staff and others in the workplace continuously.
• Frequent speaking and listening to clients, staff and other professionals in meetings and on the phone.
• Regular driving between clinics
• Occasional sitting and maintaining close visual attention to write reports and work on the computer.
