Job Description
The Clinical Practice Supervisor will oversee a team of Prescriber Support Assistants to ensure the seamless execution of task assignment, scheduling, reviewing clinical reports, and addressing prescriber and client concerns.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise prescriber support assistants and monitor day to day responsibilities. Assigning tasks, and the creation of schedules.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Prescriber Support Assistants, including task assignment and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with over 15 Prescribers and key administrative staff to set up appointments by phone, virtually or in-person
- Assist in reviewing and following up on clinical reports such as, EON clinic summaries, med outreach, PE and PA reports
- Follow-up and confirm completion of prescriber forms and foster care medication consents.
- Assist in managing pharmacy-related requests and inquiries, collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure the timely fulfillment of prescriptions.
- Facilitate the processing of patient transfer requests, coordinating with relevant departments and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in managing prescription refill authorization (PA) evaluation requests and appointment scheduling requests received from the call center and front desk
- Assist prescribers in completing progress notes and addendums as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of patient care
- Address and deescalate prescriber patient complaints when necessary
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide daily reporting updates and regularly submit summary reporting data
- Provide support to all interdisciplinary teams, including clinical and medical staff
- Perform other duties as assigned by Clinical Practice Manager, Management, Program Administration and Leadership
- Bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced office, preferably in medical or community mental health office
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to maintain self-care and cope with mental and emotional stress related to the position, function independently, and have flexibility, consistency, and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Works well in a team setting
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of MS TEAMS video meeting platform
- Ability to perform with versatility and tact in an evolving work environment of a mental healthcare facility
- Maintains a positive attitude and is friendly, upbeat, and has a great “can do” personality

Additional Information
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
