Greenberg Traurig, global law firm, currently has an excellent full-time employment opportunity in the Marketing Department for a Client Support Specialist in our Austin, Atlanta, Boston, or Chicago office.
Position Summary:
The Client Support Specialist will work within the GT Client Connect offering at the firm. With a client-centric, service-oriented mindset, the Client Support Specialist supports cross-functional collaboration to facilitate best practices in account management, assisting client teams and attorneys to maintain and expand firm-wide client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional client experience. The Client Support Specialist collaborates closely with attorneys, client service teams, and operational support teams across thefirm to facilitate seamless support, which reinforces trusted-advisor relationships with the firm's strategic clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements strategies that reinforce trusted advisor relationships and promotes exceptional client experience
  • Supports the account team for 3-5 key client accounts, working with Client Relationship Managers, Directors and Relationship Shareholders to aid in strategic execution and liaising with the client's legal operations team and other key contacts
  • Creates and implements a client-centric, action-oriented client service and support plan that focuses on strategic priorities, identifies service opportunities, enhances DEI, and fosters a trusted-advisor relationship
  • Collaborates with and manages various operational teams to support the execution, tracking, and reporting of progress against client objectives and metrics
  • Supports multiple, complex sets of client relationship activities including RFPs and other new business opportunities, secondments, client events, and custom client marketing efforts
  • Collaborates with Client Relationship Managers, Legal Project Management (LPM), and Operational Team leaders to ensure processes and systems efficiently and effectively deliver an excellent client experience
  • Manages long-term projects to enhance client service, including management of client teams, tasks, and processes
  • Monitors and encourages compliance with Clients' Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs), including by developing summaries of OCGs relevant to attorneys and training for attorneys on client OCGs and other client preferences
  • Proactively researches client and competitor movements, watches quarterly stakeholder reports, and understands the client's place in the market to identify opportunities to bring value added service to clients
  • Collaborates across firm departments to identify opportunities to enhance client experience through industry events, pro bono, DEI, CLEs, innovation, and other programs or communications of value to the client
  • Builds a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and competitive environment
  • Develops relationships with the client's legal operations and other designated team members
  • Balances goals and strategies of many different clients at once by scheduling internal calls, monitoring client correspondence and feedback as well as coordinating with internal teams
  • Supports Relationship Managers and Shareholders with day-to-day tasks including scheduling internal team meetings, requesting client-focused research, and reviewing quarterly data reports

Qualifications & Prior Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Minimum of five year of marketing and business development experience
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience at a law firm or professional services firm is strongly preferred
