Job Description: Under general supervision, monitors female residents with developmental disabilities in a residential/home life environment in a 24-hour/7-day facility. Observes, documents, and reports resident behavior/progress on an ongoing basis. Trains and assists residents in basic daily living skills. Maintains a clean, healthy and safe environment.
Schedule: This position will work a rotating shift and will require weekend and other non-traditional hours, 40 hours per week.
Competencies: Ability to observe and monitor program participants’ behavior; ability to train program participants in routine daily living skills; ability to work flexible hours; ability to participate in supportive guidance. Must be proficient with computers.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, 6 months of social service experience and must be at least 21 years old with 3 years driving experience (to transport). CNA and/or experience with home visiting and/or working with the developmentally delayed population preferred but not required. Must be able to lift with no restrictions.
