ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position, you will assist our Private Wealth Advisors in meeting our clients’ needs on a daily basis by providing superior customer support.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Complete all daily/monthly/quarterly standard reporting requirements of clients and consultants
- Create and prepare client/consultant presentations and meeting materials, collateral, and various requests for information
- Process client distribution requests via check, wire, ACH in TrustDesk on a daily basis
- Assist with Client Reporting to include downloading statements and uploading information into client portal
- Maintenance for recurring distributions
- Maintain client files and records, including scanning of mail and updating appropriate systems and spreadsheets
- Assist in preparation for client events and attend as needed
- Assist with the process of new account set up
- Assist with property tax payments
- Oversight of overdrafts and other daily transactions
- Provide backup for other Client Service Associates as needed
- Support Relationship Manager as an internal point person for existing and prospective clients and consultants in Westwood’s Wealth Management offices
- Prepare various correspondence and memos for client signature. Documents include financial management agreements, letters of authorization, account paperwork, tax documents and returns, Promissory Notes etc
- Other projects and duties as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
Minimum Specific Experience Required:
- 0 - 2+ years of experience in a Client Service organization
WHO YOU ARE
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge and understanding of trust and fiduciary principles as well as the laws governing trusts.
- The candidate should be organized and have strong analytical skills including a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and Client Service skills are a must.
