Pay is based on experience within a range of $16.25 - 22.32. This is a Part Time, non-exempt position. The hours are Mon-Thurs 5pm to 8pm
A. Responsibilities and Duties: The primary responsibility of the Client Care Specialist will be attention to clients and visitors upon their arrival for appointments. This position requires dependability which is defined as excellent attendance and timely arrival at the beginning of each assigned work shift.
Specific duties include:
1. Greeting clients and visitors upon their arrival.
2. Providing notification to staff of arrival of clients and visitors.
3. Accepting and documenting receipt of payments for services, verifying demographic and insurance information at each visit.
4. Receiving and routing incoming calls.
5. Assisting with scheduling/backfilling therapy appointments.
6. Operating standard office machinery.
7. Flexibility with working hours including evening shift.
8. Using other support skills as required.
9. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances warrant
B. Accountability: The Client Care Specialist will be directly accountable to the
Client Care Supervisor. The Client Care Supervisor or his/her designee will, no less than annually, complete a performance evaluation in compliance with personnel policies.
C. Qualifications: The Client Care Specialist position requires:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Two years prior office/clerical related experience
3. Prior computer experience and basic computer fluency.
4. Strong typing and data entry skills
5. An ability to exercise sound, independent judgement.
6. An ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
7. An ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks based on priority
8. Strong interpersonal skills in working with diverse publics.
9. Strong oral and written communication skills.
10. Flexibility in assigned working hours.
11. An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex work place.
