Job Requirements:
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to perform Client Accounting services for the initial transition of new clients
- Record transactions in general ledger and complete financial statement compilations
- Performs computations of accruals, amortizations and depreciation expense
- Sales and Use Tax Preparation
- Assists in proofing financial statements and other related documents
- Accepts responsibility for accuracy of data, accumulation, and maintenance in all aspects of what we do as an accounting and consulting Firm
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Performs other accounting or consulting duties as assigned
- Review reports and offer process improvements in accordance with beBetter initiatives
Required Skills:
- Strong project management skills
- Full understanding of accounting and bookkeeping rules and procedures
- Ability to problem solve
- GAAP and Income Tax Basis Experience
- Technologically Savvy
- Understanding of Inter Company Transactions and reconciliation
- Aptitude for self-guided learning on new technology
- Must be detail oriented
- Ability to develop proficiency with Intacct, Alliance and other industry specific software
Required Experience:
- Experience with balance sheets, bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statement preparation
- 3-5 years' experience working with spreadsheets, financial statements, balance sheet back-up, general ledger entries, and other financial reports preferred
- Experience in a CPA firm or experience in franchise accounting strongly preferred
Education Required:
- High School Diploma/Bachelors Degree
