The Clerk – Instrument and Electrical, Borger Refinery provides administrative support to the I&E Maintenance team.
Responsibilities May Include:
Completing daily time entry into SAP for ~75 craft workers
Entering Instrument Maintenance Event Reports into SAP
Organizing and updating Livelink with scanned maintenance records
Updating Excel spreadsheet with Switchtrack preventative maintenance information and maintaining the spreadsheet on Livelink
Maintaining document and records management for the I&E Maintenance team
Entering data collected from the team during their daily work on equipment in the plant as needed
Maintaining and tracking vacation schedules
Occasionally arranging travel for team members
Maintaining a report tracking team members with long term absences, daily absences, vacations, and employees that are upgraded
Handling the posting of events such as turnarounds, shutdowns, start-ups, etc.
Scheduling the manpower for turnarounds and special events that need to be staffed throughout the year
Taking minutes for meetings
Arranging luncheons, training classes, holidays, anniversary and retirement celebrations
Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
High school diploma or GED
Intermediate or greater proficiency in Microsoft Office products
1 year or more of previous experience as an administrative assistant or clerk
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with SAP
Associate’s degree in business administration or related field
3 or more years of experience as an administrative assistant or clerk
3 or more years of scheduling experience
Previous experience in a refinery or similar work environment
Previous military experience
The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.
