New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources is seeking a Clerical Assistant IV to provide administrative support for the NJNG Training department.
Major Responsibilities:
- Administer all preparation for Operator Qualification (OQ) training.
- Serve as an administrator for Northeast Gas Association OQ Onboard website.
- Identify employees due for qualification and requalification testing according to company policy and OQ Plan.
- Verify employee information is accurate, making any corrections necessary.
- Create and maintain employee training folders assuring all testing and sign off material is included according to trainee’s job function.
- Assist in creating and updating excel spreadsheets for use in assigning testing schedule.
- Assist in grading employee test, scan into file, and forward results to supervisor.
- Keep filed results and database up to date.
- Update and print all student review sheets and sign on instructions for testing.
- Coordinate, order and set up lunch for trainees.
- Track and verify expenditures for proctoring and catering services, create reports and purchase requisition; forward to Accounts Payable for payment.
- Perform special project work as needed.
- Enter employee into ITS database, create user profile and assign courses and tasks based on job role.
- Keep database accurate and up-to-date, noting changes in employment status, name and function/position.
- Supervise examinations, ensure fairness and integrity during testing situations and become certified as an NGA site proctor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- At least years 2 experience in a training environment is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Time Reporting, Concur, Query and Oracle, Calendar and Travel Management.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and accurately complete tasks with/or without supervision with emphasis on time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
