**Job Title: 1st Shift Supervisor - Green Clean Janitorial**
**Location: Columbus, OH**
Green Clean Janitorial is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1st Shift Supervisor to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a 1st Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
**Responsibilities:**
- Compile staff rotas, handle leave requests, and arrange cover as needed.
- Plan workloads, allocate tasks, and monitor progress against targets.
- Brief teams on new initiatives, changes to targets, and company news.
- Maintain safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and ensure staff have adequate safety training.
- Recruit, train, and support staff in reaching their professional development goals.
- Devise work schedules and implement deadlines.
- Uphold quality standards and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Distribute cleaning supplies and equipment to personnel as needed.
- Recruit Cleaning Technitians and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Perform various cleaning tasks.
**Qualifications:**
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, risk assessments, and safety training.
- Ability to plan and allocate work effectively to meet targets.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and supporting staff development.
