Responsibilities:
Clean, decontaminate, and disinfect ISO-classified common areas and clean rooms.
Mop ceilings, walls, and floors; wipe down equipment and table surfaces using sporicidal cleaning agents.
Remove and dispose of biohazardous waste according to established procedures.
Perform all job functions safely, following safety guidelines, equipment procedures, and chemical handling protocols.
Develop a thorough understanding of department procedures, quality requirements, performance metrics, and customer requirements.
Adhere to and improve department SOPs, quality compliance GMPs, and other established procedures.
Handle and work with hazardous materials and chemicals per OSHA guidelines.
Utilize keyboard and mouse to interact with process automation systems as well as email, word processing/spreadsheets, and other online computer systems.
Manipulate process equipment, connections, and raw materials requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive twisting and gripping hand motions.
Work around pressurized tanks, housings, and equipment serviced by pressurized steam, water, air, and cleaning/sanitizing chemical systems.
Working hours: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Skills:
Experience working in a sterile environment.
Experience in a GLP or GMP environment.
Biotech certificate.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Basic math skills and ability to work independently.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to follow written procedures and quality compliance requirements.
Good problem-solving, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
Strong initiative and focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and detail.
Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods.
