Class A CDL Truck Driver Pay:

• Base pay minimum guarantee: $60,000 ($2,300/bi-weekly pay period) - never earn less than minimum base pay, with ability to earn more! *restrictions apply based on driver availability for trips during period*
• $5000 sign-on bonus paid quarterly over 1st year
• $0.50/mile (loaded & unloaded)
• $25/hour for required training/meetings/local shift coverage

Other pay for CDL Drivers:

• Quarterly and annual mileage and safety bonuses
• Bonuses for specific inspections
• Paid wait time and attempts
• Mileage and/or bonus increases based on years of service
• Vacation and sick leave

CDL Truck Driver Overview

Our drivers are employees and operate company-owned and maintained commercial motor vehicles to provide customers with safe and on-time delivery of their freight. Drivers are on-call 24/7, are dispatched when trips become available, and can expect to spend up to 21 days/month on the road.

• Drivers must be comfortable driving in all conditions, including at night and in adverse weather.
• This is a full-time, on-call position. Drivers are dispatched as trips become available.
• Trips may require up to 21 days/month away from home.
• Most trips are regional, but drivers can expect to deliver to all 48 of the contiguous states and all the provinces of Canada.

Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must meet MVR requirements
• Must have 2+ years of CDL commercial driving experience (in vehicles with GVWR over 26,001 lbs)
• Flatbed experience a plus
• Must meet regulatory requirements, physical demands, and work environment requirements
• Ability to pass: DOT drug and alcohol testing; pre-employment and recurring DOT medical examination; random drug and alcohol testing; physical demand evaluation
• Can legally work in the United States
• Can speak, read, write, and understand English
• Experience operating commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT hours of service regulations
• Available to work scheduled on-call hours and report to the office within one hour of notification
• Must be able to perform driving, delivery, and safety functions
• Can perform loading, unloading and securement of cargo, to include lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving cargo weighing between 40 - 60 lbs on average, up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to perform runs that require up to 3 weeks away from home
• Must be able to drive in all conditions, including at night and in inclement weather
