Our Claims Examiners investigate and evaluate claims. Incumbents have up to $20,000 reserve authority; $10,000 settlement authority and $5,000 payment authority.
Other duties of the Claims Examiner III:
- Studies reports and similar claims to determine validity of the claim.
- Reviews, evaluates and processes claims and makes recommendations for resolution.
- Examines and authorizes payments within prescribed fiscal authority.
- Communicates with independent adjusters, third party administrators (TPAs'), claimants and attorneys to ensure claims are settled in an appropriate manner.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
- 3+ years' experience in insurance/claims required.
- Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Must possess strong investigative skills with the ability to achieve optimal conflict resolutions.
- Must possess strong negotiation skills and be able to appropriately influence and persuade others.
- Must possess strong fact finding skills with ability to gather detailed information.
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple demands.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
Pay Range: $60,000 - 67,000 Annual, depending on experience.
Location: 2200 S. 75th Ave. Phoenix, AZ. This position is hybrid after training is completed.
