The Claims Concierge will assist in supporting the customers and employees of Advanced Disaster Recovery Inc out of our Fairfield, NJ office. They will collaborate with across different levels of the company, so it's essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. Advanced Disaster Recovery, Inc., is a leading restoration contractor in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area with more than 35 years of experience in disaster restoration, is looking for motivated, service-centric full-time employees to help grow its team of professionals in the region. We provide restoration services - such as emergency response, emergency pre-planning, construction services, catastrophe response, contents restoration, environmental services, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage, and water damage services - to commercial, insurance and residential clients. We provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Job Summary
The Claims Concierge will communicate and manage projects with the Project Managers within Advanced Disaster Recovery Inc., and assist in supporting the service of our company to our clients and/or carriers daily. They will manage jobs as they progress through their different phases and ensure that we are in compliance with all our insurance partners. Training will be provided for all aspects of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Care

  • Make sales introduction call for all incoming leads and claims to determine extent of damage, inform customers of the claims process, and determine status of the claims
  • Field phone calls, collect appropriate information to either answer the inquiry or dispatch it to the appropriate person
  • Function as central point of contact for customers for all assigned jobs
  • Collect customer service data for reporting and analysis
  • Promote the submission of surveys and reviews

Compliance
  • Understand insurance program rules and compliance benchmarks
  • Understand the different programs in which we participate and continue education to stay up to date on any change
  • Proactively report on jobs to ensure that we are meeting compliance benchmarks
  • Escalate jobs out of compliance
  • Keep insurance program software updated

Job Management
  • Manage and process incoming claims at the direction of the Claims Management Division Head as necessary
  • Process contracts and upload necessary paperwork for them
  • Ensure assigned jobs are progressing through job phases in prompt manner
  • Work with insurance adjusters for prompt approval of estimates
  • Prepare and give contracts and insurance related forms
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure jobs are updated with relevant notes on a weekly basis
  • Complete in-progress calls to check on progress of repairs and report information back to Project Manager, Reconstruction Department Head, Production Manager, and Owners
  • Ensure jobs are updated in DASH so they reflect their correct job phase
  • Complete drying and other mitigation documents (Emergency Services Only)

  • Skilled in general PC use (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Xactimate a plus, etc.)
  • Must be willing to adhere to a background check
  • Must follow procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook

Salary and Benefits
