Job Location -1 East Main Street, Ephrata PA Travel - None

Position Type – Full Time/Hybrid Schedule to work at Home

Job Shift – Day Shift/Flex Hours (Monday – Friday)

Educational Level – Bachelor's Degree/Background in Insurance

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Entry and set up of new claims.
• Answering phones/transfer calls.
• Assist customers with claim inquiries.
• Answer general claims questions.
• Learning industry terminology and the “language of claims”.
• Assist Claims Manager with tasks.
• This position would provide great opportunity for future advancement into a Claims Adjuster position.

Qualifications:

• B.A. Degree or High School diploma with experience.
• Experience in or aptitude for customer service.
• Knowledge of or aptitude to learn basic Property & Casualty insurance terminology.
• Proficiency in keyboard and data entry and work effectively with computer system.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and work independently.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to use logic, reasoning and diplomacy in a demanding environment.
• Commitment to company values and customer service.
• Willing to obtain license for independent adjuster when on board with company, if opportunity arises to move into a Claims Adjuster position.
