Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review auto policies, claims forms and other records to verify & determine insurance coverage eligibility under applicable state laws
- Conduct & manage the investigative process, ongoing communication with customer and relevant external parties, maintain appropriate and timely recordkeeping on all claim files
- Keep work and investigative files current; manage accurate recordings of all information required for the successful resolution of claims investigations
- Adhere to the claims payment authorization process to ensure claims are within company guidelines
- Evaluating and settling non-attorney rep bodily injuries
- Negotiating settlement of property damage with insureds and claimants
- Provide superior customer service
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience of progressive responsible handling of non-standard auto claims
- P & C Adjusters license required
- GA and/or NC license preferred
- Multi-state experience preferred
- Strong organization skills & demonstrated multi-tasking abilities
