Capital Claims Management ("CCM") is a boutique insurance claims adjusting firm providing claims handling/defense and program management services to insurance carriers. In this role, you will be primarily adjusting third-party claims associated with Professional Liability (E&O) and Commercial General Liability.

Claims Adjusters will review and determine coverage, investigate, analyze liability, and resolve assigned claims.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and formulate coverage positions by reviewing contracts and insurance policies. Prepare Declination of Coverage and Reservation of Rights letters if required.
2. Interview and correspond with insureds, claimants, and witnesses to complete liability investigations. Prepare Denial of Liability letters if required.
3. Calculate, maintain reserves, and approve payment of claims within a certain monetary limit.
4. Negotiate and settle losses with little oversight.
5. Manage defense counsel on litigated cases and control legal expenses.
6. Occasional limited domestic travel possible.
Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of previous claims adjusting experience (other than Work Comp).
2. Excellent customer focus and conflict resolution skills.
3. Superb written and verbal communication skills.
4. Deadline and detail-oriented with time management skills.
5. A Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
6. Experience in E&O/CGL claims and knowledge of residential construction a plus.
