Job Description
- Responsible for cases of varying complexity from beginning to end with supervision and mentoring.
- Draft pleadings, motions, memorandums, discovery, etc.
- Interact with and represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including paralegals and support staff in conjunction with managing cases and clients.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- This position is a mentored path toward the development of your own independent practice within the firm.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience practicing Civil Litigation.
- Florida Bar License in Good Standing.
- $70K-100K+ based on experience and billable hours.
- 1750 billable hours per year minimum expectation.
- Significant bonus qualification above 1750 billable hours.
