As a Civil Engineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will be given the opportunity to perform tasks that will help develop your Civil Engineering skill set. During your internship with CEC, you will be given the opportunity to assist with projects for a wide variety of clientele including commercial real estate, manufacturing/industrial, power, mining, solid waste, and others. Task work may include assisting with Civil Engineering drawing preparation, calculations, field work, or other tasks as required for project support. performing various tasks such as calculations & drawings for our commercial and institutional clients.You will also have the opportunity to assist with work other practices in the office, including environmental and surveying/geospatial, depending on project availability and needs. You will gain experience working with a consulting firm that offers exposure to complex Civil Engineering projects in a multi-market and mutli-disciplined environment. and coordinate with various disciplines within Civil & Environmental engineering.
- Current enrollment as a junior or a senior in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program;
- Experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Desire to be learn and grow in the consulting engineering industry;
- Previous AutoCAD Experience is a plus;
- Previous intern experience is a plus.
