Form of workMichael Baker International is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our 2024 winter/spring/summer program. Positions are based in our Fort Washington and Philadelphia offices within the Highway/Roadway group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
- Assist project managers and engineers with various tasks
- Draft details and make minor ACAD revisions
- Work under the supervision of a project manager or a senior level team member
- Assist with data collection, input, verification and manipulation
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in good academic standing and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at an accredited University or College; minimum of 1 year of coursework completed
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- College level engineering courses in Civil Engineering with a focus in Highway/Roadway design
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CADD software
COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
