We are seeking a professional Civil Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater division in Austin, TX. STV specializes in the planning, organization, and development of engineering activities for the construction and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities.
Our engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national, and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out.

Responsibilities include:

• Production of contract documents including plans and specifications.
• Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations as well as pump calculations and develop system curves for sizing pumps.
• Prepare construction and design cost estimates.
• Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, pumping, storage, and treatment systems.
• Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
• Make site visits during design and construction to observe the construction installation.
• Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience is required.
• Experience or specific course work in water and wastewater systems is a plus.
• TX PE License is preferred.
• Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Compensation Range:
$74,291.00 - $99,054.00
