Civil Engineer

GBC Construction LLC is currently seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The purpose of this position is to utilize engineering concepts and design applications to support construction projects. As a Civil Engineer your responsibilities include designing, managing, monitoring and supervising various projects related to land development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop plans for projects related to land development, construction, renovation, and infrastructure maintenance in accordance with established codes and regulations

• Developing and documenting project plans including goals, strategy, budget, and timelines

• Follow day-to-day construction activities

• Implement safety programs and lead safety reviews

• Perform technical assignments

• Oversee designs and ensure that they are compliant with applicable codes.

• Use design software applications to develop mechanical designs

• Monitor and coordinate construction projects

• Manage materials, equipment, and personnel throughout the project

• Keep track of budgets and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

• Generate reports and presentations for review

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, construction, and project management

• In-depth knowledge of Civil Engineering standards and regulations

• Ability to interpret design schematics and blueprints

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Proficient with CAD, BIM, MS Office, and other engineering software

• Solid project management skills

• Proven track record of on-time, within-budget project completion

• Superior organizational and communication skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $67,000 to $78,000 per year
