Job Summary
As a Civil Engineer I (aka Engineer-In-Training or EIT), the position assists in the preparation of engineering and design documents under direct supervision. Applies basic knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with other engineers or project managers. Works with engineering teams to assist in the evaluation or design of various project aspects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
- Passed or working towards passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.

Physical Requirements
- Work predominantly in an office environment. Occasional outside work in various conditions.
- See, hear and communicate with others in varying conditions using various methods.
- Travel independently for varying periods, both domestic and international.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs.
- Sit or stand for sustained period.
- Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
- Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
