Salary- Drafting and Design: Create precise and detailed engineering drawings, plans, and schematics using software. These drawings may include site layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and details of stormwater and drainage systems.
- Collaborate with civil engineers to review and understand design specifications, site conditions, and project requirements.
- Ensure that drawings and plans adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards, related to stormwater management and drainage.
- Collect and incorporate relevant survey data and site information into drawings and plans.
- Verify the accuracy of drawings and plans to eliminate errors or discrepancies.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure that design intent is accurately represented in the drawings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of associate degree, or certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles, particularly related to stormwater management and drainage systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
