JOB TITLE: PAYMENTS MANAGER
DEPARTMENT: SPORTSBOOK ACCOUNTING
STATUS: FULL TIME
REPORTS TO: CFO/ACCOUNTING MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:
The Payments Manager will assist the Customer Support Department and the Sportsbook Accounting Department within Circa Sports. This person will help resolve player issues specifically related to deposits, withdrawals, and account balances. They will work closely with the Sportsbook Strategic Operations Manager to communicate with payment vendors regarding current and future payment options. The Payments Manager will interact with the Customer Support Manager to advise on the resolution of specific player payment issues. This person will perform responsibilities in accordance with all company Service Standards and ensure Policies and Procedures within the Sportsbook Department are adhered to.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for practicing and always promoting the Company Service Standards.
- Exemplify a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members and guests.
- Work with third party payment vendors when needed to request assistance on specific issues.
- Manage the day to day relationship with payment providers.
- Communicate with the Customer Support Manager to advise on status of player payment disputes.
- Resolve payment related issues in a timely manner.
- Access backend payment portals to track deposits, withdrawals and financial reporting related to player accounts.
- Communicate with the Finance department to assist in the case of chargebacks.
- Work with the Accounting Manager and Sportsbook Operations Management team to facilitate disbursement returns and account adjustments.
- Be aware of the payment offerings in the industry and work with third party vendors to add additional payment methods to the Circa Sports menu.
- All other essential job functions as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form.
- Previous experience in a role dealing with payments.
- Good customer service skills preferred.
- Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the sports betting industry.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and guests.
- Must be able to maintain Gaming work card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum of one (1) year previous Payment Management and/or Sportsbook Accounting experience preferred.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
- Ability to use a computer and type efficiently.
- Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
